On your final morning, consider taking an early stroll to search for a platypus before breakfast. After checking out, we make our way back towards Hobart, stopping at The Steppes, a heritage site that reflects the region’s high-country sheep grazing past and features a sculpture trail and interpretive displays. As we descend from the plateau, the expansive alpine landscape gives way to fertile lowlands. We arrive back in Hobart by approximately 1:00pm, with drop-off available at city hotels or direct transfer to the airport if needed.
