Broome is a coastal tourist town and a gateway to the tropical Kimberley region. It is situated on the traditional lands of the Yawuru people, and nowadays, it is a multicultural melting pot. You can visit stunning Cable Beach, laid-back breweries, pearl boutiques, and experience activities ranging from diving, kayaking, cultural guided tours, and unhurried camel rides. From March to October, when the moon is full, use your imagination to witness a staircase to the moon reflected in the mudflats of Roebuck Bay. The region is also famous for crocodiles, and you can meet them safely with experts at Malcolm Douglas Crocodile Park.
