Discover the breathtaking Scenic Rim Trail, a four-day guided hiking adventure just 90 minutes from Brisbane in South East Queensland. This immersive journey takes you through the magnificent Main Range National Park, renowned for its stunning mountains, ancient rainforests, and volcanic plateaus. You'll traverse over 30,000 hectares of protected parkland, including sections of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Gondwana Rainforest, one of the oldest rainforests on the planet.
Challenge yourself on dramatic peaks and ridges, witness incredible sunrises and sunsets, and marvel at Australia's diverse wildlife, from koalas to kangaroos. Led by passionate guides, you'll travel in small groups and enjoy unique, comfortable accommodation each night, complete with a refreshing drink, hot shower, and gourmet dinner. NZD $4,259Your adventure begins with a climb up the Mistake Mountain Range through dry sclerophyll forest, offering incredible views of the valley below. The trail is rough and uphill for most of the day. We use the natural rock to help us climb in some areas known as ‘rock scrambling’. The 10km of trail is Grade 4 & 5. A highlight is the 16m rock ladder, which you’ll be safely harnessed to. You will cheer each other on as each group member makes it to the top. (Please note there is a maximum weight limit of 150kg and minimum of 50kg.) You will arrive at camp by approx. 3.30pm each day depending on conditions & the speed of the group. From here the afternoon is at your leisure ahead of your daily briefing in the lounge before a share style dinner at approximately 6:00pm. Your group will dine together at a set time each evening enjoying stories from the day.
