Upon your arrival in Darwin, you’ll be warmly welcomed by the Outback Spirit friendly and professional Tour Director. This afternoon, you’ll enjoy a guided city tour, including a visit to the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory. Later, check into your harbour view room at the Hilton Garden Inn, located along the beautiful Darwin Esplanade. This evening, join your fellow travellers for a welcome dinner as you prepare for the incredible Kimberley adventure ahead.

This morning, you’ll depart Darwin on a scenic flight to the Mitchell Plateau aboard Outback Spirit's state-of-the-art Cessna Grand Caravan. Designed for comfort, the aircraft features high wings for excellent visibility, air-conditioning, and turbine reliability, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable flight.
Upon arrival, you’ll head to the exclusive Ngauwudu Safari Camp, the most luxurious tented camp in the Kimberley. Your deluxe safari suite, complete with an ensuite bathroom, quality furnishings, and a spacious balcony, provides the perfect retreat. This stunning camp will be your home for the next two nights and serves as the ideal base for exploring the Mitchell Plateau and Mitchell Falls.

Today will be a true highlight of your Kimberley adventure! After a short drive to the ranger station, you’ll set out on a 4km guided walk to the breathtaking Punamii-Uunpuu (Mitchell Falls). This walk requires a good level of fitness and mobility but promises immense rewards along the way.
With expert guides from the Kandiwal Community, you’ll uncover rarely seen Gwion and Wanjina rock artwork, gaining deep insights into the region’s ancient cultural heritage. Along the trail, you’ll also pass the stunning Little and Big Mertens Falls before arriving at the magnificent four-tiered Mitchell Falls. At the falls, take time to relax, enjoy a picnic lunch, and marvel at the cascading waters. To finish the experience, you’ll return to camp on a scenic helicopter flight (included), offering an unforgettable aerial view of the falls and surrounding wilderness.
Back at camp, you can unwind with a well-earned rest or enjoy a refreshing swim in the palm-fringed creek. This adventure beautifully combines cultural discovery, natural beauty, and thrilling moments, making it a standout day on your Kimberley journey. 

This morning, you’ll leave the Mitchell Plateau and make your way back to the Kalumburu Road. Along the journey, you’ll stop to explore exceptional Wanjina rock art galleries near the King Edward River and enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch in this picturesque setting.
In the afternoon, you’ll arrive at Drysdale River Station, a vast pastoral lease that runs over 9,000 head of cattle across more than a million acres. For the night, you’ll stay in comfortable station cabins featuring private ensuite bathrooms, offering a relaxing retreat in this remote outback location.

This morning, you’ll bid farewell to Drysdale Station and rejoin the Gibb River Road. Heading east, you’ll cross the Durack River and arrive at the impressive Pentecost River, framed by the majestic Cockburn Range. Take a moment to admire the stunning escarpment views before continuing to the world-renowned El Questro Wilderness Park. Here, you’ll settle in for the next two nights at Emma Gorge Resort, staying in unique tented cabins surrounded by the natural beauty of the Kimberley.

This morning, you’ll venture deeper into the heart of this iconic Kimberley wilderness to explore Chamberlain Gorge, a stunning three-kilometre freshwater oasis surrounded by towering escarpments. Enjoy a relaxing 90-minute gorge cruise, where you can feed the cheeky Archerfish before returning to Emma Gorge Resort via the station township.
After lunch, set off on a guided walk to the spectacular Emma Gorge waterfall (2.5 hours return – a good level of fitness is required, but the reward is well worth it). Take a refreshing swim in the large rock pool at the base of the falls and marvel at the breathtaking beauty of the gorge, considered one of the Kimberley’s finest.
Upon your return to the resort, the rest of the afternoon is yours to relax and unwind before regrouping for dinner.

Depart El Questro this morning and journey along the Gibb River Road to Wyndham, where you’ll visit the spectacular Five Rivers Lookout, offering dramatic views over Cambridge Gulf.
In the afternoon, stop at the Argyle Homestead Museum before heading to Lake Argyle, the starting point for a stunning three-hour cruise along the Ord River. Take in the breathtaking scenery and spot diverse wildlife as your skipper provides expert commentary while guiding you downstream to Kununurra.
Arriving at sunset, you’ll make your way to the Kununurra Country Club for a relaxing overnight stay.

This morning, you’ll depart Kununurra and journey south to the World Heritage-listed Purnululu National Park (the Bungle Bungles). Upon arrival, you’ll check in to the Bungle Bungles Savannah Lodge, owned by Outback Spirit in partnership with Aviair/Helispirit. The lodge offers comfortable cabins with ensuite bathrooms, providing a relaxing base for your two-night stay in this stunning wilderness.

Today, you’ll immerse yourself in the wonders of Purnululu National Park, renowned for its striking orange and black beehive-shaped domes. Begin with an unforgettable 18-minute scenic helicopter flight, offering a bird's-eye view of the park’s incredible natural features.
After the flight, enjoy a walk along Piccaninny Creek to the awe-inspiring Cathedral Gorge, a natural amphitheatre, and follow the Dome Trail for an up-close look at the park’s unique geological formations.
In the afternoon, you’ll venture to the northern area of the Bungle Bungles to explore the dramatic Echidna Chasm before returning to the lodge for the evening.

This morning, you’ll leave the Bungle Bungles, retracing the renowned Bungles track before re-joining the Great Northern Highway and heading to Halls Creek.
After lunch, you’ll leave the highway and travel to Mt Pierre Station, where a track leads to the incredible Mimbi Caves, part of the 350-million-year-old Devonian Reef system. Guided by local experts, you’ll explore this breathtaking cave system, known for its vivid colors and stunning limestone formations. Along the way, hear Dreamtime stories and learn about one of the world’s most significant Devonian fossil sites from the local Gooniyandi people. Enjoy freshly brewed tea and traditional damper made with native seeds, prepared by your guides in the traditional way.
Later, you’ll continue to Fitzroy Crossing, a town shaped by the unprecedented flood events of 2023, where you’ll spend the night at the Fitzroy River Lodge.
Please note: The walk into Mimbi Caves involves uneven terrain, limited lighting in some areas, and confined spaces. Participants should feel confident on their feet and comfortable with these conditions.

This morning, you’ll visit Tunnel Creek National Park for a fascinating underground river walk through this natural wonder. Next, explore the awe-inspiring Windjana Gorge, one of the Kimberley’s most spectacular gorges. Marvel at its towering water-streaked walls, rising up to 100 meters above the floodplain.
After a guided walk through the gorge, you’ll continue your journey to Broome, arriving late in the afternoon to check in at the iconic Cable Beach Club Resort and Spa, where you’ll enjoy a two-night stay.

Start your day early as you embark on an unforgettable full-day adventure to Horizontal Falls and the Dampier Peninsula. The experience begins with a breathtaking seaplane flight, offering panoramic views of the stunning Buccaneer Archipelago, before landing on the calm waters of Talbot Bay. Enjoy either a hearty hot breakfast or a locally sourced barramundi lunch, prepared by your expert hosts aboard the Horizontal Falls houseboat.
During the day, you’ll cruise through the incredible Horizontal Falls, followed by a refreshing swim in the marine viewing enclosure, where you can get up close to the local marine life. Next, visit the renowned third-generation Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm, where you’ll learn about its rich history and pearl farming traditions. Afterwards, explore the Beagle Bay Aboriginal Community, home to the iconic Mother of Pearl Church, a true cultural highlight.
Following a day filled with adventure and discovery, you’ll return to Broome, with the Horizontal Falls team ensuring a smooth transfer back to your accommodation.
This evening, join your group for a relaxed dinner at the Sunset Bar & Grill, the perfect way to end an extraordinary day.

Your tour concludes after breakfast this morning and you will be transferred Broome Airport or your next accommodation.
