Tweed Heads, NSW

Tweed Heads is the perfect combination of suburban culture, rainforest & spectacular beaches. This vibrant border town is a great base for exploring The Northern Rivers & Gold Coast regions. Tweed Heads is the twin town of Coolangatta, with Tweed to the south in NSW and Coolangatta to the north in QLD.
Take a cruise on the scenic Tweed River and experience the local food, fish or even catch your own mudcrab. 50km inland is the world-heritage listed Wollumbin National Park and back at the coast you can go kayaking or stand-up paddle boarding at Terranora creek, snorkel the headland or relax in one of the shallow lagoons (perfect for families). Keep an eye for dolphins at Point Danger look out or spot whales from June - November.
With multiple national parks in easy reach, world class surf, galleries, golf-courses, shopping and international entertainment, the huge variety of experiences on offer shows that Tweed Heads really has it all.
