Day 1 - Welcome Aboard the Odalisque III

Your adventure begins in Hobart, where you’ll meet at the waterfront with Above & Beyond Tasmanian Seaplanes for your scenic flight to Port Davey. Soar over jagged peaks, sparkling rivers, and the iconic spire of Federation Peak before landing beside Odalisque III, your luxurious expedition vessel. After settling into your cabin, enjoy a guided shore excursion or tender cruise, exploring untracked beaches and the surrounding wilderness. The day concludes with a gourmet dinner on board, paired with fine Tasmanian wines and beverages.

Local owner Pieter van der Woude’s custom-built expedition vessels offer comfort, style, safety, and an intimate wilderness experience in Tasmania. Purpose-built for minimal impact, they feature two lounges, three viewing decks, and seven luxury cabins with queen beds and private ensuites. Large windows throughout provide sweeping views, so guests wake each day to a new Tasmanian wilderness scene.
Day 2 - Southwest Wilderness Exploration
Day two immerses you in the heart of the Southwest Wilderness. After breakfast, embark on daily guided walks, wildlife spotting, and visits to historic sites. Your activities may include beachcombing, hiking, photography, birdwatching, or simply relaxing aboard Odalisque III while taking in the pristine scenery. Afternoon excursions by tender or shore continue your exploration, followed by a sumptuous dinner prepared by your onboard chef, complemented by a curated selection of Tasmanian wines, beers, and spirits.
